A NASA science team has created an accurate, high resolution map of the height of Earth's forests. The map will help scientists better understand the role forests play in climate change and how their heights influence wildlife habitats within them, while also helping them quantify the carbon stored in Earth's vegetation.

DeleteJorge, não apaga esse blog (vc é mestre em deletar blogs eheh), pq a divulgação científica tbm é função dos cientistas/pesquisadores. divulgar ciência é uma outra forma que existe de se prestar contas com a sociedade, e noto que poucos se preocupam com isso, por isso acho louvável a sua iniciativa, aind amais pq vc é um cara competente, e extremamente inteligente (sim, vc é... não adianta negar, assuma isso logo de uma vez por todas, excesso de modéstia pode ser ruim à vezes ;). portanto parabéns pela iniciativa e não abandone o blog. um grande abraçõ;.

Olá, grande Lúcio. Prometi a mim mesmo não deletar este blog como fiz das outras vezes. Vou colocar em prática algo que quis fazer desde o início dele: as postagens semanais. Outra coisa que preciso fazer urgentemente é divulgar esse blog; também penso em chamar colaboradores. No mais, grato pela palavras e pela consideração.
